Around Jesolo
One of the places we recommend to our guests, in the natural surroundings of the Venetian lagoon, is the village of Lio Piccolo.
Reachable by bicycle, you will have a different experience immersing yourself in an atmosphere where you can see pink flamingos, birds like herons and seagulls and much more. Continuing this path, you can see the bell towers of Burano and Torcello, the two islands near Venice, in the distance.
Another interesting route by bicycle is to discover the islands of Lido di Venezia and Pellestrina.
You arrive at Punta Sabbioni and with the vaporetto (every 30 min) you reach the Lido of Venice, from which you can start the journey of about 30/40 km, passing through the Murazzi - stone fortification built by the Serenissima, Malamocco - a picturesque lagoon village, then in order you will meet San Pietro in Volta, Portosecco, Pellestrina up to Chioggia.
You will experience discovering places where the life of the resident people is linked to the rhythms of fishing and farming.
In the midst of beautiful lagoon landscapes, brightly coloured houses and old and typical taverns where you can stop to eat the "Cicchetti" of local fish, you will enjoy an unforgettable experience.
Another 35 km route is the one that starts at Jesolo and reaches Caorle passing through Eraclea Mare and Duna Verde. An itinerary that crosses houses with flowered balconies, fishermen's cottages at work, paths bordered by rivers and much more, until you plunge into the historic centre of Caorle, until a few years ago the scene of fishermen's everyday life.
We could continue the list indefinitely, there are very many cycling routes in our area, and at the reception we will be happy to show you those suitable for you and your family, to enjoy in the company of also the youngest ones.
